Although  there are several things that can be seen as ability-like, it's not definite whether the ones listed below are because of an "ability to <do something>" or if it is an innate ability of her race, or if it is a kind of sorcery that [[hermit]]s can learn as mentioned in ''[[Perfect Memento in Strict Sense]]''.

In addition to regular animals like monkeys, snakes and birds, Kasen and Reimu rode on the back of the [[Unnamed Dapeng]], and is even able to use such uncommon creatures like the children of dragons. Especially concerning the children of dragons, she even said, "whatever I say, they will listen". According to Komachi, the employment of animals is Kasen's signature move.
